The sixth year of an alternative music festival Freakfest will take place (26)27-29 August, 2010 at the same place as last year, in camp Buňkov in Břehy u Přelouče (Pardubice region). Freakfest is a unique international open-air music festival, which main focus in on rock music but you can also encounter other forms of arts such as pantomime, drama, dance, or recitals here. In the mornings there will be seminars and workshops, the afternoons will be filled with artistic programme on the Art Stage and the evenings will belong to the excellent bands from the Czech Republic and from abroad. There will be also additional activities, tearoom, night cinema, and popular midnight services…

Mainstage

This is the main centre of the festival which comes to life first thing in the morning during the worship time. The best fun starts in the evening hours when the concerts start. You can dance to the best bands that we invited just for you…

Artstage

Have you come to Freakfest and the rock music isn't really for you? Then peak in the art tent where you'll find exhibitions, dramas, oneman-shows or variety of music recitals. We're sure you'll find your thing…

Tentwork tearoom

It is a place which will become an oasis of peace for most of the Freakfest time. It is a place where you can, with a cup of tea, dive into your inner self, share with other pilgrims or just sit and listen to God's voice…

Chapel

Come here if you want to be still before God or pray to Him. There will also be people who will be willing to listen to you and to pray for you or your friends. God is waiting for you…

Shopping Centre

Do you want to buy cool shirts, sweatshirts, cds, or sweatbands? Pay us a visit at our tent. Most of the stuff we have cannot be bought anywhere else in the country...

All you who love motion pictures just come! Every evening in the artstage we play one story that speaks something...every second before the silver screen is an opportunity to loosen your emotions...

Midnight service

The best is yet to come! When all the music gets quiet, come to the artstage and experience the best relaxed time with God you’ve ever dreamt about – candleligh service, a short preaching and a Communion. Admit that to finish a day like this is a dream come true…

TRANSPORTATION

The best way to reach the camp by car from the West is to take the highway D11 in the direction of Hradec Králové, on kilometre 68 exit the highway in the direction of Pardubice, in Lázně Bohdaneč turn right in the direction of Přelouč. You will reach Břehy and the camp before you’d come to Přelouč. From all the other directions it’s best to go through Pardubice, from Pardubice in the direction of Přelouč, in Přelouč turn in the direction of Hradec Králové. You will reach the village Břehy in 2km… It’s also good to take the train. The camp is located near the main train line Prague-Pardubice-Ostrava/ Brno. You’d need to get off the train in Přelouč, from Přelouč you can reach the camp Buňkov on foot. It’s only 2km away (have fun) or you can smile at some drivers and hope they will take you there …

Tickets paid on the spot
20,- EUR for the whole weekend
11,- EUR for one day

PARKING

Parking outsider the camp is for free. If you want to come in the camp by car and park near your tent or caravan you will need to pay additional fee of 4,- EUR for the whole weekend or 2,- EUR per day. Motorcycles do not need to pay.

THE RIGHT TIMING

The camp will be open from Thursday August 26th from 6pm
Freakfest starts on Friday August 27th at 9am
Freakfest ends on Sunday August 29th at 3pm
The camp will be closed on Sunday August 29th at 6pm
We have unlimited space so you do not need to worry that daily tickets will be sold out. If that happens we will take you out for a beer.

ACCOMMODATION

Camp Buňkov is located by a pond of the same name on the edge of the village Břehy, in East Bohemia region, about 2km north of the town of Přelouč, about 18 km West of Pardubice. Accommodation is in your own tents and caravans in a pleasant area shaded by birch trees. More information can be found at www.bunkov.preloucsko.cz. If you need more comfortable accommodation it can be arranged in the camp cabins. Space is limited though and you need to make reservation by the end of July at the following address: monika(at)freakfest.cz

FOOD

Everyone needs to take care of their own food and make sure to have enough food to eat. It is possible to eat at a local restaurant, at food stands or just bring your own food. Basic food will be sold at the camp. You can also enjoy „tentwork“ – godarchy tea-room.

SERVICES

There will be a reception open non-stop at the camp (information jesesfreax), where you can find out up to date information about programme and services in the camp. You can always come and ask your questions here.

NOTE

It is strictly prohibited to bring any drugs or weapons in the camp area – violation of this rule will be handled by the Police. It is also prohibited to bring in drinks and food in glass containers. We ask the festival visitors to behave properly and follow the organizers‘ and security guards‘ directions. Thank you for cooperation.
